The educational philosophy behind Silverlake International High School was to be a place for children ages 13-18 to prepare for higher education in the United States, Europe or other "western" countries. Students would become acquainted with western teaching styles and methods as well as being immersed in English only classes while living on campus.
After the initial conceptual design, I led a team of four designers and interns to develop and create schematic design drawings, 3D models, diagrams and renderings. This project was turned over to the local architect in China and a version of this design is currently under construction.
